The friendly match between Denmark and Ukraine was halted at the 64-minute mark due to health issues involving Danish national team player Christian Eriksen.

Andrea Maldera, head coach of the Ukrainian national team:

"We are stunned by what we witnessed. Our entire team and supporters are thinking with Eriksen, with his family. I sympathize with the Danish fans who went through terrifying moments. It would be inappropriate to talk about football in light of Christian's situation.

When this incident occurred, the coach of Denmark approached me and we jointly decided to stop the match. I believe that life is the highest value. Everything else is secondary."
