After a confident victory in the opening match against Estonia (3:0), Nataliya Ignatovich's team faced Finland and suffered a defeat (1:7). Today’s opponent for Ukraine was Slovakia.

At the very beginning of the game, blue-and-yellow players conceded a quick attack by Slovakians, and Melania Hovanova opened the score with a penalty kick. The score remained unchanged until halftime. Additionally, on the 41st minute, Yulia Kuciuba played dangerously and saw a red card.

After the break, our girls, despite being outnumbered, became more active and started pressing Slovakia's goal. However, an unfortunate mistake by Victoria Bila in midfield led to a counterattack from the opponents, and Sofia Bodnarova, one-on-one with our goalkeeper, confidently scored another goal.

Thus, 0:2 — Ukraine’s team finished the UEFA Development Tournament in third place.
