After a brief gathering in Lviv, the Ukrainian women's under-15 team (WU-15) departed via Krakow, Poland, for Finland, where they will participate in the UEFA Development Tournament from November 16 to 21.

Head coach Nataliya Ignatovich commented on the official website of the UAF about the latest news regarding our team:

— It is important that during the preparation stage in Lviv, we played a friendly match against "Nadbutshchym" (Busk) and won 2-0 thanks to goals from Anna Rozdobya and Kristina Shepetiko. We needed game practice.

— Did you manage to invite all the best players of this age group?

— During the All-Ukrainian tournaments, we reviewed a large group of potential candidates and believe that we have selected the most promising ones. Unfortunately, there are losses. Polina Panchenko from "Krivbas" was injured before the gathering, and during the friendly match against "Nadbutshchym," Myroslava Lavryk from "Podil" hurt her hand. They will not be able to help us in Finland. All others are eager for battle.

— What information do you have about the opponents from Finland, Estonia, and Slovakia?

— We will get acquainted with them directly at the UEFA Development Tournament. Before our first match against Estonian teams, we will have an opportunity to watch other participants' matches — Finnish and Slovak teams. So we will have an idea of the competition, although we do not intend to adjust to them. We aim to demonstrate our best qualities.
