In September's matches for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, three footballers made their debut with the Ukraine national team and all of them played their first games in blue and yellow against France (0:2).

On the 82nd minute of the match in Wrocław, players from Donetsk's Shakhtar, Artem Bondarenko and Oleksii Ocheretko, entered the field at Taras Schevtchenko Stadium "Tarchomin Arena Wrocław", while on the 87th minute it was Kyiv Dynamo midfielder Nazar Voloshyn.
