The head coach of the Ukrainian women's beach soccer team, Yuriy Klimenko, outlined the goals for the EuroLeague Superfinal in 2025 and spoke about the preparation for it.

"We departed to Italy by bus on September 5th together with the men's national team. In Viareggio, we were joined by Teresh, Dubitska, and Skibina, who play in Spain and Portugal leagues. A newcomer is joining us — Liilia Yuzvenko has been called up to the national team for the first time. We saw her last year before the Neom Cup (Tournament in Saudi Arabia — note). This season, she was also at training camps ahead of the EuroLeague Superfinal selection in Spain. Liilia played very well in Kiev and Ukraine championships and proved that she deserves a spot on the national team.

In addition, after a two-year break, Hanna Shulga has returned to the national team. In the spring, she underwent knee surgery but is now fully recovered and completed the summer preparation period on sand. Hanna is now fully preparing for the EuroLeague finals."

As for our opponents, we were not pleased with the draw again. We got Spain and Italy. The Spaniards are currently the strongest in the world plus the hosts, who will certainly set high goals for themselves at home. But we also have the goal of reaching the semifinals and winning EuroLeague medals," — said Yuriy Klimenko.

Recall that the matches will take place from September 9th to 14th in Viareggio, Italy. Earlier, the Ukrainian women's national beach soccer team announced its squad for the most important tournament of the season.
