Today, within the playoff round of the Conference League, "Polesia" faced Italian "Fiorentina" in a nominal home match.

The first half of the match in Prešov at "Tatran Arena" started with an absolute advantage for the Italians, who opened the score as early as the 8th minute. After Moise Kean's shot hit the post and bounced off Oleg Kudryk's back into the net, it was 0:1. This goal, however, somewhat spurred on the players of "Polesia," and Nazarenko and Filippov had decent chances to score in the middle of the half. However, the opponent once again demonstrated their class, and on the 32nd minute Robin Gosens scored a powerful shot doubling the Florentines' lead. And just one minute before halftime, the guests were left with ten men. Moise Kean received a straight red card for elbowing an opponent.

After halftime, after several attempts by Sarapiy, Nazarenko and Hayduchik, "Polesia" lost their chance to narrow the gap and conceded a third goal when Gudmundsson outpaced Chobotenko. Thus, 3:0 — victory for the Italians.
