From July 17 to 25 in Zagreb (Croatia), the 2025 European University Futsal Championship took place, with the result that Ukraine's women's team won gold.

From July 17 to 25 in Zagreb (Croatia), the European University Futsal Championship-2025 took place, with the Ukrainian women's team winning gold according to the results.
The competition featured 15 women's and 18 men's teams from 16 European countries. Ukraine was represented by the team of the Mykhailo Drahomanov National Pedagogical University (coach — Ruslan Misharovskyy, head coach — Yuliya Forsyuk), multiple champions of student futsal in Kyiv and holders of the Ukrainian Students' Cup.

In the group stage, our girls defeated teams from the University of Jyväskylä (Finland) — 5:1, the University of Münster (Germany) — 2:0 and WSG Bydgoszcz (Poland) — 2:0. In the quarter-finals, Ukrainian players overcame the team from the University of Minho (Portugal) — 4:1, in the semi-final they beat Nantes University (France) — 5:1, and today in the decisive match proved to be stronger than the University of Barcelona (Spain) — 4:2.
