The 2025/2026 season of the Ukrainian Cup will take place with a record number of teams participating since the war — 68, and the competition will include representatives from all levels of Ukrainian football — from elite clubs to regional teams. A detailed presentation of the tournament format and all novelties will be held next week at the House of Football.

The following teams have been invited:

— 16 teams from the VBET Ukrainian Premier League;

— 32 teams from the Professional Football League (16 from the first league, 16 from the second league);

— 4 teams from the Association of Amateur Football in Ukraine;

— 16 teams from regional football associations.

Tournament Structure

Qualifying Round

Date of the event (base days): August 9–10, 2025.

Participation will include 16 teams from regional competitions:

— «Agron» (Ternopil Oblast);

— «Athletic» (Odessa);

— «Girnik» (Novi Yavoriv, Lviv Oblast);

— «Carbon» (Cherkasy);

— «Kolos» (Poltne, Khmelnytskyi Oblast);

— «Korosten/Agro-Niva» (Zhytomyr Oblast);

— «Legia» (Kyiv);

— «Lutsksantehmontazh No. 536» (Volyn Oblast);

— «Medea-Nevytskyi Castle» (Zakarpattia Oblast);

— «Metallurg» (Zaporizhzhia);

— «Naftovik-Dolina» (Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast);

— «NIKA SMK» (Bogodukhiv, Kharkiv Oblast);

— «Novoukraina» (Kirovohrad Oblast);

— «Olympia» (Savynychi, Poltava Oblast);

— «Polska Stavky» (Piskyvka, Kyiv Oblast);

— «Fazenda» (Chernivtsi).

Round of 32

Date of the event (base days): August 23–24, 2025.

Teams participating at this stage:

— 8 winners of the qualifying round;

— 32 teams from the PFL (16 each from the first and second leagues);

— 4 representatives of AAFU: «Agrotech» (Tishkivka, Kirovohrad Oblast), «Dengoff» (Denikhivka, Kyiv Oblast), «Kormil» (Yavoriv, Lviv Oblast), «Mayak» (Sarny, Rivne Oblast);

— 12 teams from the VBET Ukrainian Premier League.

The schedule for further stages of the tournament will be approved after the adoption of relevant legal documents.

Lottery for the qualifying round is planned to take place on July 17, 2025.
