In Uzhhorod at the «Avangard» stadium within the final stage of the «Defenders Tournament», co-organized by the Ukrainian Football Association, four top teams from different regions of Ukraine met.

The teams that arrived for this stage of the competition were almost 100% composed of active military personnel, while in total 16 teams participated in the tournament, qualifying to play in the final stage through regional competitions.

The event was attended by honored guests — councilor of the Minister for Veterans Affairs Mykhailo Damaskin, representative of the Ukrainian Football Association Artem Lukashuk, head of the Zakarpattia Military Administration Myroslav Biletskyi, head of the Zakarpattia Regional Council Roman Saraichuk and head of the Zakarpattia Football Association Ivan Duran.
