"Open Football Festival" visited Kalynivka, which is in Kyiv Oblast
In the village of Kalynivka, Fastiv district, on the grounds of the «Metallurg» stadium, another event took place within the framework of the all-Ukrainian social project «Open Football Festivals», organized by the Ukrainian Association of Football in conjunction with the Kyiv Union of Football Associations.

A community event within the framework of the all-Ukrainian social project "Open Football Festivals" took place at the "Metallurg" stadium in Kalynivka, Fastiv district.
Seventy-two children—boys and girls aged 10-11 years old from the local gymnasium—participated in the festival. The kids had the opportunity not only to play football but also to go through interesting educational stations that combined sports, psychological support, and elements of safety.

On the playground, 12 volunteers, a psychologist, and a representative of the State Emergency Service worked with the children. The latter conducted an important lesson on mine safety, which is particularly relevant today and helps to develop safe behavior habits in children.

The event was organized on-site by the project coordinator for Kyiv region, Volodymyr Maslov, and the local coordinator, Vitaliy Titaryuk. Thanks to their efforts, the festival took place at a high level in a friendly and safe atmosphere.
KOAF sincerely thanks everyone who contributed to the realization of this initiative and is confident that such events are not only a way to popularize football but also a powerful tool for social cohesion, child development, and peace support in Ukraine.

The "Open Football Festivals" project of the Ukrainian Association of Football is:
- youth leadership in communities;
- psychosocial support for children of military personnel, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and war-affected children;
- unity and friendship among IDP children and local children, social integration;
- an inclusive environment where everyone participates, including children with special educational needs;
- knowledge of safety in wartime conditions;
- the philosophy of mass football—joy from the game instead of results at any cost;
- cultivation of a healthy lifestyle;
- volunteer development;
- activation of local communities through cross-sector networks (youth leaders, teachers, coaches, psychologists, safety experts, parents, local authorities, patrons, etc.).
