A football festival for players born in 2017, called "Pechersk," took place in Kyiv. This is the third consecutive year that the event has been organized by the Youth and Sports Department of the Pechersky District State Administration of Kyiv together with the Ukrainian Football Association.

Participants of the "Pechersk-2025" football festival:

— team of DYSKH No. 21, Dniprovsky District of Kyiv;

— team of Lyceum No. 269, Holosiivsky District of Kyiv;

— team of DYSKH "Darnytsia," Darnytsky District of Kyiv;

— team of FC "Vigurivshchyna," Desnyansky District of Kyiv;

— team of FC "Maestro," Podilsky District of Kyiv;

— team of KDSKH "Voskhod," Darnytsky District of Kyiv;

— team of DYSKH-17, Sviatoshynsky District of Kyiv;

— team of DYSKH "Arsenal-Kiev," Solomiansky District of Kyiv;

— team of DYSKH No. 24, Shevchenkivsky District of Kyiv;

— team of KDSKH "Champion," Darnytsky District of Kyiv.

According to the regulations, 12 teams were divided into three groups of four each. The festival did not aim for results at any cost; its main goal was maximum satisfaction from football, development of technical and individual skills, and every player had an opportunity to showcase their best qualities.

In the award ceremony, all participants were honored by First Deputy President of the Ukrainian Football Association Artem Stoyanov, Deputy Head of the Pechersky District State Administration Anatoliy Nevmerzhitsky, and war veteran, captain of team "Burivyi" and player of Ukraine's national amputee football team Oleksandr Malchyevsky.

“First of all, I would like to thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to hold such football events. I also want to convey greetings from President of UAF Andriy Shevchenko and note that he has always supported and will continue to support the development of children's and youth football in Ukraine.

Friends, today you demonstrated true passion for competition, strength, and team spirit. The UFA will always support such tournaments.

I wish you all to become real football stars. We are waiting for you in the ranks of our national team. Glory to Ukraine!” — said Artem Stoyanov in his congratulatory speech.

It should be noted that all teams received cups, medals, and sports equipment from the Ukrainian Football Association as well as certificates of appreciation from the Head of Pechersky District State Administration.
