The UEFA PLAYMAKERS project center, implemented by the Ukrainian Football Association in cooperation with the Ternopil Football Association and the "Ternopil" football academy, is successfully operating at School No. 11 in Ternopil. The project is supervised by coaches Serhiy Kharchuk and Iryna Loginska.

"This project is extremely interesting and captivating for the youngest female football players, as it is also effective because its main goal is to instill a love of football in young girls so that they can develop in their favorite sport in the future."

The girls are acquiring new skills and improving their physical qualities, making new friends, learning to work as a team, and also getting the opportunity to try themselves in various roles — leader, helper, friend, captain, and even in the images of Disney movie heroes.

Many participants continued their football path in the FA "Ternopil" system, where they showcased themselves at their best by participating in all-Ukrainian competitions and earning awards. Therefore, in my opinion, UEFA PLAYMAKERS is the first step for young girls to immerse themselves in the wonderful world of football," — noted Serhiy Kharchuk.

Goals of the UEFA PLAYMAKERS program, implemented by the Ukrainian Football Association:

• to introduce girls to football by creating an environment for them where fun, friends, and football are in focus;
• to implement a new individual coaching approach that uses imagination (inspired by Disney stories and characters) as a tool for training and skill acquisition;
• to refine girls' life skills, basic movement skills, and teach the basics of football to foster lifelong love for the sport.
