Week of Actions #TotalAccess2025: equal opportunities in football

From March 7 to March 23, 2025, the 13th AccessibAll Week of Action (formerly the European Football Accessibility Centre — CAFE) took place.

Week of Actions #TotalAccess2025: equal opportunities in football

This is the largest-scale initiative aimed at creating an inclusive environment in the world of football, where people with disabilities can fully participate as spectators, players, coaches, administrators, volunteers, and decision-makers.

The Ukrainian Football Association once again supported this initiative by joining the #Total Access Week events. One of the bright moments was an event that took place on March 22, 2025, in Belgium — the first-ever friendly match between the Big League team and the Belgian Red Flamingos amputee football team. This meeting ended with our team's victory by a score of 1:0 and became not only a sporting confrontation but also a demonstration of unbreakable spirit and possibilities for athletes with disabilities.

The next day, participants from the amputee football team had the opportunity to attend the decisive playoff match between the national teams of Belgium and Ukraine. This became a symbolic gesture of support and recognition of the importance of equal access to football at all levels.

#Total Access Week 2025 once again demonstrated that football is a game for everyone. Such initiatives help break down barriers, promoting the integration of people with disabilities into sports life and society as a whole.
