The UEFA Executive Committee adopted a decision that the final tournament of Euro-2027 (U-21) will take place in Albania and Serbia.

The forum involving 16 youth national teams is planned to be held on four stadiums in Albania (Tirana, Shkoder, Elbasan, Rrogozhina) and four — in Serbia (Novi Sad, Loznica, Leskovac, Zajecar). The opening match will take place in Serbia, the final — in Albania. The hosts received licenses automatically, while 14 spots will be contested through qualification. The draw for its group stage will take place on February 6 (start at 10:00 Kyiv time).

UEFA will provide additional information about the format of the competition and the procedure for the draw. For now, it can be said that this year three windows are planned for qualification matches — in September (1–9), October (6–14) and November (10–18). It should also be noted that the qualifiers of Euro-2027 (U-21) will determine the participants of the 2028 Olympics from UEFA's zone.

We remind you that this summer, Ukraine's youth national team under the leadership of Unai Melgassia will participate in the final tournament of Euro-2025 (U-21) in Slovakia, where they will face Denmark (June 12), Finland (June 15), and the Netherlands (June 18) in the group stage. As part of their preparation for the tournament, our team is scheduled to play two friendly matches. The first training camp is planned from March 17 to 25 in Turkey, where the blue-and-yellow will play friendlies against their peers: on the 21st with Slovenia and on the 25th with Poland.
