The teams will compete in two stages. All teams will play a single round-robin in the first stage according to the draw schedule. The sporting achievements from this stage will be retained.
Following the first stage, two groups of six teams each will be formed, and they will play two additional rounds (home/away) according to the approved schedule.
Group 1 (1st to 6th places): This group will determine the champion, the Higher League medalists, and the two teams qualifying for the 2025/2026 UEFA Women's Champions League.
Group 2 (7th to 12th places): This group will determine the teams that will be relegated from the Higher League.
According to the project, at the end of the 2024/2025 Ukrainian Women's Higher League season, the team that finishes in 12th place will be relegated to the First League. The teams finishing in 10th and 11th places will play two playoff matches (home/away) against the teams that finish 3rd and 2nd in the First League, respectively (10th Higher League vs. 3rd First League, 11th Higher League vs. 2nd First League).
