On October 6, Ukraine's futsal team achieved incredible success in Tashkent, securing their first-ever World Cup medals by defeating France 7:1. President of the Ukrainian Association of Football, Andriy Shevchenko, has already congratulated Oleksandr Kosenko's squad on their bronze medal victory.

In addition to the team's collective achievement, the Ukrainian players also earned individual accolades at the Futsal World Cup 2024.

Rostyslav Semenchenko was named the tournament's third-best player, receiving the Bronze Ball. The Golden Ball for the best futsal player went to Brazil's captain Diego, while the Silver Ball was awarded to Brazilian Marlon.

Brazilian Marcel was the top scorer with 10 goals. Ukraine's Danyil Abakshyn claimed the Silver Boot with seven goals. He also shared the top spot in assists, with six, alongside France's Mouhudin.
