This distance grew thanks to the victory of Alexander Chizhevskyi's team over their direct rival, «Epicerter» (2:1). The footballers from Volochysk secured themselves a comfortable two-goal advantage even before halftime. The only thing that the visitors managed was to reduce the score in the second half thanks to a shot by newcomer Vladimir Tanchyk, who has extensive experience playing in the Ukrainian Premier League.

The appearance of new coach Yuri Vira at «Niva»'s helm hasn't yet brought any dividends for the Teremkivans. In Khmelnytskyi, they lost to the local «Podillia» (0:1) and worsened their chances of making it into the top quartet fighting for promotion.
