The day before the match between "Niva" and "Agrobusiness" (Group A, 7th round), Ternopil's coach Yevgeniy Kalynichenko was relieved of his duties.

The team was temporarily led by his assistant, Ruslan Umanets. The players from "Niva" were ahead initially, but the visitors managed to secure their sixth consecutive draw — 3:2.

Today, the players of "Niva" were introduced to their new head coach — Yuriy Vira, whose assistants will be Mykola Lapko and Oleksandr Zotov. It's worth noting that they previously served in Vira's coaching staff when he led the elite "Veres."

"Agrobusiness" remains the only team in the first league without any losses. However, their closest pursuers are also keeping pace: "Epizentrum" defeated "Prikarpattia" — 3:0 (Danylo Kravchuk scored a brace), and "Bukovyna" secured victory over "Metalist" — 1:0.

In Group B, FC "YUKSA" is cheering its fans with five clean goals against "Dinaz." Maxim Kazakov was the standout player, scoring twice.

The central match took place in Kyiv, where "Metalist 1925" hosted "Viktoriya." Vladlen Yurchenko opened the score before halftime, and Vyacheslav Churko sealed the win for Kharkiv's team at the end of the game — 2:0.
