Yuriy Klymenko's team finished fourth in the group stage, participating in the consolation final for 5th–8th place. Yesterday, in the minor semifinal, they defeated Switzerland (5:3), and today they faced one of their group-stage opponents, Czechia, in the battle for 5th–6th place.

In the first period, Kostyuk opened the scoring with a free-kick. In the second, Klipachenko, assisted by Terekh, and Bavzenyuk, finishing off a setup from Skybina's bicycle kick, extended Ukraine's lead to three goals.

The Czech team responded with two goals but Ukraine held onto their lead, securing a 3:2 victory and 5th place in the 2024 Euroleague Superfinal.
