As part of their preparation for the summer games, Ruslan Rotan's squad held a training camp and now kicked off their participation in the tournament. The first match, against Indonesia, was held in the city of Vitrolles.

The first half saw total dominance by our team, with Voloshyn having an early chance to score. The quick goal came in the 9th minute when Synchuk finished off a cross from Drambayev. Midway through the half, the Ukrainians doubled their lead by intercepting the ball near their opponent's goal, with Mykhailenko scoring a precise shot.

Early in the second half, Drambayev had a good shot from a rebound. In the 59th minute, the blue-yellows scored their third goal when Fedor headed in a cross from Synchuk. Our team created several more good chances before the end of the match, notably a shot by Shostak over the crossbar. Ultimately, Ruslan Rotan's team secured a final score of 3:0.

The blue-yellows will play their next match in the international tournament on June 6 against Italy.
