Today, June 4th, the Olympic team of Ukraine will start their participation in an international tournament in France with a match against Indonesia's team. The game will begin at 19:00 Kyiv time.

From May 31 to June 17, the Olympic team of Ukraine will participate in a training camp and an international tournament called Tournoi Maurice Revello in France as part of their preparation for the Summer Olympics.

Our team has arrived in Marseille, where the games will take place. Due to various reasons, the composition of Ukraine's Olympic team has been updated, and the coaching staff can now rely on 26 players.

The blue and yellow team will start their tournament with a match against Indonesia's team. A live broadcast on YouTube channel "Societate Sport" will begin today at 19:00.

The two best teams from Group B will advance to face the representatives of Group A in the knockout stage.

The format of the Olympic tournament is traditional: competition in four groups with four teams each, followed by knockouts, quarter-finals, semi-finals, match for third place and final (September 9, Paris, "Parc des Princes").

We remind you that last summer, defeating France (3-1) in the Euro-2023 quarter-final match and securing a spot in the semi-finals, our team achieved an historic success - earning Ukraine's first-ever qualification for the football tournament at the Olympics. Along with Ukraine, Spain and Israel also earned licenses to compete in the Summer Games 2024 through their performance at the Euro-2023.

Participants of the men's football tournament at the Olympic Games 2024 will compete from July 24th to August 9th in seven cities across France: Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Bordeaux, Saint-Etienne, Nice and Nantes. According to the regulations, players born after January 1, 2001 are eligible to participate, with each team allowed to include up to three players who are older.

In total, 16 teams will take part in the tournament: France as hosts, three from Europe (Ukraine, Spain, Israel), three from Africa (Morocco, Egypt, Mali), three from Asia (Japan, Uzbekistan, Iraq), two from South America (Paraguay and Argentina), two from CONCACAF (USA and Dominican Republic), one from Oceania (New Zealand) and the winner of the intercontinental play-off (Guinea).
