Dnipro Donetsk 'Shakhtar' in the Europa League knockout round replay surrendered to French 'Marseille' and concluded their European campaign.

A week ago, the miners played a night match against Marseille in Hamburg — 2:2. Now, under Marin Pusic's guidance, they faced the French team at home. The Provencal side managed to change their head coach since then. It should be noted that Bondar was not allowed to play today due to a suspension.

Later on, Marseille scored again — from a set piece in an acute angle, Konégbéy scored. In summary, Shakhtar lost with a 1:3 scoreline. This concludes the European season for both orange-and-black and Ukraine.
