Ukraine, as before, is ranked 18th in the UEFA coefficient table for the five-year cycle 2019/2020–2023/2024.

Five domestic clubs started the season-2023/2024, and four of them have already ended their campaigns after exiting the Conference League qualifiers: Volhynia lost to Dile (1:3), Dnipro-1—Spartak (1:2), Dynamo—Besiktas (0:1), and Zorya concluded their European season after the group stage match against Breidablik (4:0).

Shakhtar, after securing third place in the Champions League group stage, moved to the Europa League and on Wednesday drew 2-2 with Marseille (2:2), adding another point to their tally, or 0.2 of a coefficient.

Overall, our association remains in 18th place and has accumulated 20.5 points (or 4.100 coefficients). Shakhtar has earned 11 points (with four bonuses for the Champions League group stage), Zorya—six, Dnipro-1—half a point, Volhynia and Dynamo—a single point each.

In theory, we are still discussing a top-15 position (the 16th place loses one quota in European competitions overall [five to four]), but the chances of achieving this seem slim given the current standings.
