Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6:00 on February 7, 2024, regarding the Russian invasion of our country. 

Glory to Ukraine! The seven hundred and fourteenth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, employing a tactic of terror, carrying out missile and air strikes, and shelling both military and numerous civilian objects in our country with multiple rocket launchers.

During the past day, 92 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy carried out four missile and 27 air strikes, conducted 88 shelling operations with multiple rocket launchers on positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians. Civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings, has been damaged.

During the night, Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine using 15 Shahed-136/131 UAVs. Air defense forces and means destroyed 12 attack drones.

Air strikes hit Yablunivka in Sumy region; Veterinarnoe, Okhrimovka, Mala Vovcha, Pishchane, Kislivka in Kharkiv region; Oleksandriopil, Ugliedar, Staromayorske in Donetsk region; Novodaryvka, Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia region.

More than 140 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "North" on Volyn and Polesie fronts, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On the Northern and Slobozhanskyi fronts the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent our troops from redeploying to threatening directions, increases mine-explosive barriers along the state border in Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Khortytsia" on Kupyansk front, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations.

On the Lysychansk front Ukrainian soldiers repelled 21 attacks by occupiers in the areas of Bila Hora, Lugansk region and Terniv, Hryhorivka, Donetsk region.

On the Bakhmut front, forces of defense repelled 12 enemy attacks near populated areas of Bogdanivka and Klyshchyivka, Donetsk region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Tavria" on Avdiyivka front, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy who does not give up attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold their defense, inflicting heavy losses on aggressors. Thus, forces of defense repelled 21 attacks by occupiers in the areas of populated places Novobakhmutivka and Avdiivka as well as eight more attacks near Perevomayskoye and Nevelskoye, Donetsk region.

On the Mariupol front, Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold back the enemy near Georgiyevka, Pobedy and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region, where 20 attacks were repelled.

On the Shakhtarsk front, our defenders repelled an attack by the enemy south of Zolotoye Niva, Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, forces of defense repelled four attacks by the enemy in the area of Robotyne and west of Verbovyye, Zaporizhzhia region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Odessa" on Kherson front, forces of defense continue to hold positions and repel assaults by occupying troops. Despite heavy losses, the enemy does not give up attempts to drive our units from occupied positions. Thus, during the past day, the enemy carried out two unsuccessful assault operations.

At the same time, our soldiers actively inflict casualties in manpower and equipment on occupying forces along the entire front line.

During the past day, aviation of defense forces delivered strikes against 13 areas of concentration of personnel and two anti-aircraft missile complexes of the enemy. Air defense forces of Ukraine destroyed one guided air-to-surface missile Kh-59.

Subunits of rocket troops inflicted blows on two command points, two areas of concentration of personnel, two ammunition depots and three artillery systems of the enemy.
