To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6:00 on February 6, 2024 regarding the Russian invasion of our country. 

Glory to Ukraine! The seven hundred and thirteenth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

The enemy continues to ignore laws and customs of war, uses terrorism tactics, carries out missile and air strikes, and shelled both military positions and numerous civilian objects in our country with multiple rocket launchers.

During the past day, 126 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy carried out seven missile and thirty-five air strikes, conducted ninety attacks with multiple rocket launchers on our troops' positions and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are injured among the civilian population. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged.

Air strikes were carried out in Synykhivka, Ivanivka, Stepanova Novoselivka, Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast; Seredynske forest in Luhansk Oblast; Seredynka, Hryhorivka, New York, Lastochkine, Avdiivka, Vuhledar, Staromajorske in Donetsk Oblast; Novodaryvka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

More than 110 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv oblasts were subjected to artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "North" on the Volynian and Polesian directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.

In the Northern and Slobozhanskyi directions the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent our troops from redeploying to threatening directions, increases mine-explosive barriers along the state border in Belgorod Oblast.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Khortytsia" on the Kupyansk direction, our defenders repelled eight attacks near Synykhivka, Kharkiv Oblast, where the enemy attempted to break through our troops' defense.

In the Lyman direction Ukrainian soldiers repelled 20 enemy attacks near Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Yamolivka, Ternyv, Torshchevoye, Hryhorivka in Donetsk Oblast.

In the Bakhmut direction our defense forces repelled 10 enemy attacks near populated areas of Bogdanivka, Ivanivske and Klyschyivka in Donetsk Oblast.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Tavria" on the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy who does not give up attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold their defense, inflicting significant losses on aggressors. Thus, during the past day our forces repelled 29 attacks of the enemy in the vicinity of populated areas Novobakhmutivka and Avdiivka as well as another 16 attacks south of Tonynkoye, Pervomaiskyi, Nevelskiy in Donetsk Oblast.

In the Mariupol direction Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold back occupiers near Georgiyivka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast where 26 attacks were repelled.

In the Shakhtarsk direction the enemy did not conduct any offensive (assault) operations.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction our defense forces repelled two attacks of the enemy in the vicinity of Robotino, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Odessa" on the Kherson direction, our defense forces continue to hold positions and repel assaults by occupying troops. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not give up attempts to drive out our units from occupied positions. Thus, during the past day the enemy carried out three unsuccessful assault operations.

At the same time, our soldiers actively inflict casualties in manpower and equipment on occupying forces along the entire front line.

During the past day, subunits of rocket troops delivered strikes against one area of enemy personnel concentration, two command posts and three ammunition depots.
