President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about a security meeting in Zaporizhzhia and a detailed discussion regarding the protection of the sky over Dnipro.

Today was very active.

In the morning — Rovenky, one of the most severe parts of the front line, Zaporizhzhia direction. Personally thanked the soldiers and awarded five of the best directly on the frontline for their actions in recent weeks: Senior Sergeants Igor Goncharuk, Ivan Taras, Yaroslav Polischuk, Sergeant Mikhail Blashkiv, and Senior Lieutenant Andriy Olshansky — Andriy was decorated with the "Cross of Combat Merit." All these are exactly such guys whose bravery and endurance preserve our positions and our state. Thank you very much, soldiers!

In Zaporizhzhia, I held a security meeting. Not only regarding issues of the region and city. There were briefings by military commanders, including about the situation in Avdiivka. Of course, a separate discussion on Zaporizhzhia, the entire direction. Fortifications — I am grateful to everyone involved in construction. Protection from Russian air strikes. Ensuring social life. The state is ready to do more for job security and social peace in the region. Today I presented the new head of the regional military administration Ivan Fedorov.

Today — Air Command "East." A briefing and a detailed discussion about protecting the sky over Dnipro. The danger is constant, high, Russia considers the region one of its main targets for terrorist attacks. Our enterprises, our economic potential in this region. We are working to add capabilities to shoot down rockets, drones. And our air force soldiers, mobile artillery groups, everyone fighting against Russian aerial terror deserve our gratitude and further strengthening. Specifically, we are preparing new consultations with partners on this.

Now — Kryvyi Rih, the entire area and other communities of the region, a meeting about energy and water supply for cities and villages in Dnipro, including Kryvyi Rih. Protection of power objects. Strengthening mobile artillery groups, PPO, REB. Restoring power capacities. I thank everyone who has been restoring power supplies after recent strikes — each repair brigade. Also to those working now on building new water supply infrastructure. This is a strategic task. Hundreds of thousands of people depend on this. Nikopol, Mariupol, Pokrov, part of Kryvyi Rih and the Kryvorizhsky district. A separate report — about protection from saboteurs and collaborators. Law enforcement has some good results.
