Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 10:00 on January 14, 2024 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The six hundred and ninetieth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

During the past day, 61 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy carried out 32 missile strikes and 91 air raids, conducted 82 artillery attacks on our positions and populated areas with multiple rocket launchers. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians. Civilian infrastructure, including residential buildings, has been damaged.

Air strikes were carried out in Vovchans'k, Vesele, Pishchane, Ivanivka (Kharkiv region); Nevske, Bihorivka, Seredynske forest district (Luhansk region); Kolodyazi, Terny, Bogdanivka, Hryhorivka, Keramik, Tonentsye, Avdiivka, Ocheretinе, Novomikhailivka, Vodiane (Donetsk region); Novoandriyivka (Zaporizhzhia region); Chervoniy Mayak, Zmiyivka, Berislav, Shlyakhove (Kherson region).

More than 120 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "North" on Volyn and Polesie fronts, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On the Severnaya and Slobozhanska fronts, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent our troops from redeploying to threatening directions, and increases mine-explosive barriers along the state border in Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Khortytsia" on Kupyansk front, Ukrainian defenders repelled four enemy attacks near Sinkyvka, Kharkiv region.

On Lyman Front, our defenders repelled four attacks by occupiers in the areas of Makieyevka (Luhansk region) and Terny (Donetsk region).

On Bakhmut Front, our soldiers repelled two enemy attacks near Klyshchyivka and Andriyivka, Donetsk region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Tavria" on Avdiivka front, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy who does not give up attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold their defense, inflicting heavy losses on aggressors. Thus, defensive forces repelled five attacks by the enemy in the areas of Novobakhmutivka and Avdiivka as well as 15 more attacks near Severnyy, Pervomaysky and Nevelskoye, Donetsk region during the past day.

On Mariupol Front, our units continue to hold back the enemy around Krasnogorivka and Novomikhailivka, Donetsk region, where 17 attacks were repelled.

On Shakhtarsk Front defensive forces repelled four enemy attacks south of Prechistivka, west of Staryy Mayor and south of Rovenpole, Donetsk region.

On Zaporizhzhia Front, Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy attacks in the area of Robotino, Zaporizhzhia region.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Odessa" on Kherson Front, defensive forces continue to take steps to expand their foothold. Despite heavy losses, the enemy does not give up attempts to drive our units from occupied positions. During the past day, the enemy carried out five unsuccessful assault operations against Ukrainian defenders.

At the same time, our soldiers continue active actions inflicting casualties on occupying forces in manpower and equipment, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.

During the past day, air force of defensive forces carried out strikes against 11 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the enemy. Also, anti-aircraft defense means destroyed seven winged missiles Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 and one guided aerial missile Kh-59.

Subunits of rocket troops inflicted damage on three areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, nine artillery systems, four anti-aircraft defense means, ammunition depot and radio-electronic warfare station of the enemy.

Estimated losses of the enemy during the past day amounted to: 840 occupiers, 10 tanks, 33 armored combat vehicles, 19 artillery systems, two anti-aircraft defense means, 13 tactical drones, eight winged missiles, 35 cars and eight units of special equipment.
