President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about rescue operations in various cities across the country and statements by world leaders supporting Ukraine and Ukrainians.

"Dear Ukrainians,

Rescue operations are currently underway in different cities of Ukraine. Wherever Russian missiles hit, debris fell. The most massive attack from these scoundrels - almost 160 rockets and drones. Our soldiers shot down the majority of them - various types of rockets, "shaheds". Targets for Russia have become familiar - over 100 private homes destroyed or damaged, 45 multi-story buildings, schools, two churches, hospitals, maternity wards, many commercial and storage premises. As of now, 29 people have died. My sincere condolences to all relatives... Over 150 people were injured - everyone received the necessary help. Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Odessa, Lviv, Zaporizhzhia, Smila, Kharkiv region, Sumy region, Khmelnytskyi region, our Zhytomyr region...

We will definitely respond to Russian terrorists for every strike. Terrorism never wins against people. Over 600 of our rescuers are involved in assistance and debris clearance. A lot of equipment is being used. The work will continue around the clock. I want to thank everyone who is involved, everyone who supports people. Especially to the guys from Ukraine's State Emergency Service (SES). Thank you, boys! Dmytro Lutsenko in Kharkiv, Denis Mykhieiev in Dnipro, Pavlo Harchevskyi - Odessa, Mykola Grynyi and Ihor Dobryden - Kyiv, Andriy Nesterenko - Zaporizhzhia. Also to the employees of Ukraine's National Police who have particularly distinguished themselves today: Oleksandr Hnatyuk in Kharkiv, Dmytro Popovich in Dnipro, Artem Gryshko in Odessa, Iryna Naumenko, thank you, Iryna - in Zaporizhzhia. I thank all of you and your colleagues!

It is important that the world reacts to this latest act of terror. Many leaders have already made statements supporting Ukraine and Ukrainians today, and I am grateful to each one. Especially those who helped our country with PPO (Point-Defense Missile Systems). Our anti-aircraft defense forces did a lot today. Considering that Russian terrorists deliberately tried to bypass our defenses. We will continue to strengthen our PPO and work on returning the war back to these scoundrels - home, to Russia, from where it came.

Today I was at the positions of our soldiers on the front line in Avdiivka. 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade. Heroic soldiers. Personally thanked them for their strength and how they hold up in battles. Awarded those who distinguished themselves most - young sergeant Ihor Timoshchuk with "Golden Star" of Hero of Ukraine, senior lieutenant Yevhen Baykov with the Cross of Military Merit. Also awarded orders of "For Courage" and Hmelnitsky to soldiers of the brigade. It is an honor personally to thank such soldiers. To all who are now on "zero", to all who defend our country. And although there is fatigue - it is visible, but there is no doubt. No weakness. There isn't. And that's the most important!

Ukraine fights for its life and I thank everyone and every woman who are there on the front line, in frontline areas, to all who help.

Visited a hospital in Donetsk region to personally thank our military medics and support the boys recovering from injuries. Honored doctors and soldiers with state awards. I am proud of our people - by the strength of our nation, our country, that Ukraine can do when we are all united. And I thank everyone who cares about our country and its people! Who protects, who works, who strengthens!

Together we will stand firm. And we will win! I know.

Glory to Ukraine!"
