Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6:00 on December 30, 2023, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The six hundred seventy-fifth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

Over the past day, 56 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy delivered 150 rocket and 74 air strikes, carried out 84 artillery attacks on our positions and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

During the night, Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine using 10 Shahed-136/131 drones. Our air defense destroyed five of these attack drones.

Air strikes hit Synykhivka, Ivanivka, Petrovavlivka, Kurilivka, Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast; Makieivka, Nevske, Serebryanske forest in Luhansk Oblast; Terny, Serebryanka, Oleksandropil, Novobakhmutivka, Novomikhailivka in Donetsk Oblast; Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Artillery fire affected nearly 110 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv oblasts.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "North" on the Volynian and Polesian fronts, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On the Northern and Slobozhanskyi fronts the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent our troops from moving into threatening directions, and increases mine-explosive barriers along the state border in Belgorod Oblast.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Khortytsia" on the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven attacks near Synykhivka, Kharkiv Oblast, where the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to break through our defenses.

On the Lyman direction the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations.

On the Bakhmut direction our soldiers repelled two attacks by occupiers in the areas of Bogdanivka and Andriyivka, Donetsk Oblast.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Tavria" on the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy who does not give up attempts to encircle Avdiivka. Our soldiers firmly hold their defense, inflicting significant losses on aggressors. Thus, during the past day, our forces repelled eight attacks by the enemy in the areas of Stepove, Avdiivka and 21 attacks near Severnyy, Pervomayskyi and Nevelskyy, Donetsk Oblast.

On the Mariupol direction, defensive forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Mariupol and Novomikhailivka, Donetsk Oblast, where nine attacks were repelled.

On the Shakhtarsk direction occupiers did not conduct offensive (assault) operations.

On the Zaporizhzhia direction, defensive forces repelled two attacks by the enemy west and northwest of Verbove, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

In the area of responsibility of OSUM "Odesa" on the Kherson direction, our soldiers continue to expand their foothold. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not give up attempts to drive Ukrainian units from occupied positions. Thus, during the past day, the enemy carried out more than 10 unsuccessful assault operations.

At the same time, Ukrainian defensive forces continue active actions inflicting casualties on occupiers along the entire front line.

Over the past day, our aviation delivered strikes against 10 areas of concentration of personnel and equipment and three air defense missile complexes of the enemy.

Subunits of rocket forces struck two areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, three artillery systems, five ammunition depots and two other important targets of the enemy.

In Russian occupation troops, individual cases of refusal by military servicemen to carry out criminal orders and participate in combat operations are being recorded. Thus, on December 19 this year, from temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast, under convoy of law enforcement officers, 43 members of the 150th motorized rifle division of the Russian Armed Forces were sent to Russia who refused to participate in combat operations.
