Today, December 20, the Ukraine futsal team will continue their path in the elite round of the 2024 World Championship with a match against Poland.

To secure a direct ticket to the World Cup, where Kazakhstan, France, Spain and Portugal have already qualified from Europe, our team needs to beat Poland in their last match. The game in Łódź will start at 19:30 Kyiv time.

“We need to maintain the mood and enthusiasm for the match against Poland. As we thought, everything will be decided at the end. It's good that it depends on us. We need a win over Poland, and we will prepare for this very important game of the qualification,” — said head coach of the blue-and-yellow team Oleksandr Kosenko.

Futsal World Cup 2024. UEFA Elite Round Qualification
Group A: Kazakhstan, Romania, Azerbaijan, Netherlands.
Group V: Ukraine, Poland, Serbia, Belgium.
Group C: Croatia, Slovakia, France, Germany.
Group D: Spain, Italy, Slovenia, Czech Republic.
Group E: Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Finland.
Futsal World Cup 2024. European Qualification
Elite Round
Matches: 11—20 September, 2—11 October, 11—20 December 2023.
The 20 national teams are divided into five groups of four teams each. Matches take place home and away. The five group winners will qualify for the Futsal World Cup. Four best second-placed teams advance to the elite round playoff.
Elite Round Playoff
Drawing: 25 January 2024.
Matches: 8—17 April 2024.
The four teams will be divided into two pairs, and matches will take place home and away. The winners of the pairs will qualify for the Futsal World Cup.
The World Cup will take place in Uzbekistan from September 14 to October 6, 2024.
