To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 6:00 on November 27, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The six hundred and fortieth day of the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.

The Russian Federation continues to ignore laws and customs of war, employs tactics of terror, carries out missile and air strikes, and shells with multiple rocket launchers not only military targets but also numerous civilian objects in our country.

Over the past day, 63 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy carried out one missile strike and 34 air strikes, conducted 51 shelling attacks with multiple rocket launchers on positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are injured among civilians. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

Air strikes hit Seredina-Buda in the Sumy region; Spirene, Bogdanivka, Klyschyivka, Toretsk, Pivnichne, Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Urozhaye, Starymaysorske in the Donetsk region.

More than 100 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson regions were under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of the Operational Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces «North» on the Volynian and Polesian directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On the Northern and Slobozhanskyi directions the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent our troops from redeploying to threatening directions, increases density of mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the Operational Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces «Khortytsia» on the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Synkivka, Kharkiv region and Novoselivske, Luhansk region, where our defense forces repelled seven attacks.

On the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Seredynskyi forest district. The enemy was not successful.

On the Bakhmut direction, our soldiers repelled 10 attacks by the enemy near Bogdanivka, Klyschyivka, Andriyivka and east of Pivnichne in the Donetsk region. The forces of Ukraine's defense continue offensive actions south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, consolidating on gained positions.

In the area of responsibility of the Operational Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces «Tavria» on the Avdiivka direction, the enemy does not give up attempts to encircle Avdiivka with air support. Our soldiers firmly hold their defense, inflicting significant losses on occupiers. Unsuccessful were offensive actions by the enemy east of Novobakhmutivka, south of Novokalynovoye, Severnyi, Stepove, Avdiivka and Pervomaisk in the Donetsk region, where our defense forces repelled 30 attacks.

On the Mariupol direction, with air support, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Mariupol and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where our defense forces repelled seven attacks.

On the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive (offensive) actions.

On the Zaporizhzhia direction, occupiers carried out unsuccessful offensive actions west of Verbovyi in the Zaporizhzhia region.

At the same time, the forces of Ukraine's defense continue to conduct an offensive operation on the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses on occupation troops in manpower and equipment, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.

In the area of responsibility of the Operational Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces «Odessa» on the Kherson direction, our defenders continue to hold occupied positions on the left bank of the Dnipro, continuing counter-battery fire and inflicting artillery strikes on enemy rear areas.

Over the past day, aviation of the forces of defense carried out three strikes in areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the enemy.

Units of rocket troops inflicted damage to two areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, as well as an ammunition depot of the enemy.
