Tuesday, November 15 Ukraine's youth national team (players born in 2005 or later) begins their campaign in the qualification round of Euro-2024 (U-19).

The team coached by Oleh Kuznetsov will compete in Group 7, where they will face Slovakia, Kosovo, and Malta. The mini-tournament takes place from November 15 to 21 in the Maltese city of Ta' Qali (Ta' Qali Stadium). To advance to the elite round, teams must secure first or second place among the four participants. Additionally, the best third-placed team will also qualify.

"The hosts are motivated, and they will be tough opponents. We've faced Kosovo before and won, but it was a very challenging match for us. Slovakia always has promising young talent as well. Therefore, I wouldn't single out any particular team. All the opponents have roughly equal chances of success," — said Ukraine's youth national team head coach Oleh Kuznetsov.

Today our team starts with a match against the tournament hosts, Malta. Kickoff is at 12:00 PM Kyiv time.
