Ukraine national team defender Vitaliy Mykolenko participated in a press conference ahead of the Euro-2024 qualification match against North Macedonia alongside head coach Serhiy Rebrov.

— What can we expect from North Macedonia? Have they changed their play compared to the previous match?

— It's better to ask the head coach about that. I step onto the field and follow his instructions. They have a very good attack line, and they are effective on counterattacks. I think they will try to play the same game as in Skopje.

— What thoughts come to mind when you look at our group's standings?

— The next match is the most important one. If we don't take three points in every game, it will be difficult for us.

— You have been playing alongside Mykhailo Mudryk almost a year now. How comfortable are you on the left flank with your new partner?

— If we've been playing together for nearly a year, he's no longer a new partner. We try to establish connections. With each training camp, things get better both on and off the field. Everything is good.

Recall that the Euro-2024 qualification match between Ukraine and North Macedonia will take place on October 14 in Prague (kickoff at 16:00 Kyiv time).
