Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 10:00 on October 10, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The one hundred ninety-fourth day of large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.

Russian occupiers continue to ignore international humanitarian law, conducting not only attacks on Ukrainian positions but also strikes on civilian infrastructure in populated areas, terrorizing peaceful residents.

Forces of the Defense of Ukraine are continuing defensive operations in eastern and southern Ukraine, an offensive operation on the Melitopol direction, and offensive actions on the Bakhmut direction, destroying the enemy, step by step liberating temporarily occupied territories, consolidating their positions on achieved lines.

During the past day, 39 combat engagements took place. In total, the enemy carried out one missile and 63 air strikes, conducted 47 artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers both against our military positions and civilian objects of our state. Private residential buildings and other civil infrastructure were damaged.

Also tonight, Russia launched another airstrike on Ukraine, deploying 36 Shahed-136/131 attack drones. Air defense forces destroyed 27 enemy "Shaheds."

Air strikes hit Galaganyivka in Chernihiv Oblast; Dytynove, Stepne in Sumy Oblast; Kindrashivka, Petrovovka, Pyskan in Kharkiv Oblast; Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast; Severodonetsk, Spirne, Andriyivka, Keramik, Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Mariinka, Novomykhailivka, Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Oblast; Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Zmiivka and Berislov in Kherson Oblast.

More than 120 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson Oblasts were subjected to artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic grouping of troops "North" on the Volynian and Polissian directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On the Severian and Slobozhansky directions the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas, conducting active sabotage activities to prevent our troops from redeploying to threatening sectors, increasing mine-explosive barriers along the state border in Belgorod Oblast.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic grouping of troops "Khortytsia" on the Kupyansk direction, our defenders repelled five enemy attacks near Synkivka and Ivanivka in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Lyman direction forces of defense repelled seven enemy attacks around Makieyevka in Luhansk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut direction Ukrainian soldiers repelled four enemy attacks near Klyshchyivka in Donetsk Oblast. In turn, forces of defense continue offensive actions south of Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast. They have partial success around Andriyivka in Donetsk Oblast, inflicting losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, consolidating their positions.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic grouping of troops "Tavria" on the Avdiivskiy and Mariupol directions, the enemy carried out more than 15 unsuccessful attacks around Mariinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Shakhtarsk direction Ukrainian soldiers repelled an attack by the enemy near Stary Mayorovskiy in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia direction our defenders are holding off the enemy around Levadnoye in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Forces of defense continue an offensive operation on the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses on occupying forces, consolidating their positions and exhausting the enemy.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic grouping of troops "Odessa" on the Kherson direction forces of defense are conducting counter-battery fire, destroying supply depots and successfully targeting the rear of the enemy.

Russian occupiers continue to seize civilian objects on occupied territories. In particular, in the village of Lozno-Oleksandrivka, which is temporarily occupied Lugansk Oblast, local secondary school was seized by Russian terrorists. Currently, about 150 Russian occupants are sitting there. On adjacent territory, the invaders have set up a repair base for military equipment.

And in the village of Novyy Svit, temporarily occupied Donetsk Oblast, Russian occupiers turned the local hospital into their military hospital and treat only Russian terrorists there. Civilian personnel and local residents who need medical help are not allowed inside by the invaders. About 50 occupants arrive at this hospital daily mostly with gunshot and mine-explosive wounds. Evacuation of the wounded occurs two to three times a week.

During the past day, aviation of the forces of defense carried out ten strikes on areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment of the enemy.

Subunits of rocket troops struck at command posts, ammunition depots, two areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, and a radar station of the enemy.

Estimated losses of Russian invaders during the past day totaled: 450 occupants, six tanks, three armored combat vehicles, seven artillery systems, one air defense system, seventeen tactical drones, twelve cars, and two units of special equipment.
