Two football teams from Kharkiv region, Lysyansky "Avangard" and Sahnovshchana "Kolos," met in the final match for the main football trophy of Dnipropetrovsk region in the open Cup of the oblast.

Understanding that due to active military actions in Kharkiv and neighboring Donetsk regions, it is impossible to hold regional football tournaments at this time, the Football Association of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast invited teams from these regions to participate in their competitions.

At the time of the final, FC "Kolos" already had gold awards in the Super League of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, while FC "Avangard" finished fourth in this tournament. For both teams, this was a principled personal confrontation that added emotion to the decisive match.

Congratulations to FC "Avangard," its fans, players, coaches, and management on a convincing victory — 4:0! At the final of the Cup were present Head of Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration Oleg Synyegubov, Chairman of the Kharkiv Oblast Football Association Viktor Kovalenko, President of FC "Kolos" Armen Bakmanyan, General Director of FC "Avangard" Mykola Kaminsky, Chairman of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Football Association Viktor Andrukhiv and Head of Magdalynivka Community Volodymyr Drobitko.

Honored guests also had the honor of awarding FC "Donbas," which became a bronze medalist in the Super League Championship of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. These boys are now defending the borders of our country and immediately after being awarded, they departed for the front line. The head coach Oleksandr Kosevych, who is also the executive director of the Football Association of Donetsk Oblast, joined in greeting his team and thanked the defenders.

Head of Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration Oleg Synyegubov and Chairman of the oblast association Viktor Kovalenko expressed gratitude to Viktor Andrukhiv, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Football Association, for organizing the tournament, unity, and cooperation.
