Women's League of Nations 2023/2024: kickoff time for matches between the Ukraine and Greece national teams has been determined

The Ukrainian women's national team played two initial matches in the newly formed Nations League, conceding to Serbia and Poland in their group with identical scores — 1:2.

The Ukrainian women's national team played two initial matches in the newly formed Nations League, conceding to Serbia and Poland with identical scores — 1:2.

Meanwhile, the start times for the third and fourth round matches have been set as Greece vs. Ukraine and Ukraine vs. Greece. The matches will take place on October 27th and 31st at the OFI Crete Stadium in Iraklion. Both games will begin at 5:00 PM (local time is the same as Kyiv time).

How will the matches in groups take place?

All group stage matches will be played according to the usual format — home and away against each opponent in the group. Three points will be awarded for a win, one point for a draw, and no points for a loss.

Who will drop out? Who will play in promotion/relegation matches?

League A

The top two teams in each group remain in League A for the European qualification of the 2025 Women's Euro.

Four teams that finish third will play promotion/relegation matches against second-placed teams from League B groups. Winners will stay in League A; losers will drop to League B.

Teams finishing fourth will be relegated to League B.

League B

The top four teams in each group move up to League A.

Four teams that finish second play promotion/relegation matches against third-placed teams from League A. Winners will stay in League A; losers will drop to League B.

The top three teams finishing third play promotion/relegation matches against the top three second-placed teams from League C. Winners will remain in League B for European qualification; losers will drop to League C.

The team with the lowest ranking among those finishing third and four teams that finish fourth are relegated to League C.

League C

Five group winners move up to League B.

The top three second-placed teams play promotion/relegation matches against the top three third-placed teams from League B. Winners will remain in League B for European qualification; losers will drop to League C.

Other teams stay in League C.

Matches for promotion/relegation

Pairs are drawn, and home and away matches are played within the pairings. Teams finishing third in their groups are seeded and play the return match at home.
