On September 22, our team started the tournament with a match against Serbia, but unfortunately, they conceded despite leading in score — 1:2. The game took place in the Polish town of Starogard Gdański at the Kazimierz Deyna Municipal Stadium and marked the debut for the new head coach of the blue-and-yellow team, Volodymyr Pyatenko.

Today, on September 26, the women's national team of Ukraine will play their second round match — an away game against Poland (kick-off at 19:00 Kyiv time). The match will be held at the Municipal Stadium in Gdynia. A live broadcast of the match can be viewed on Polish TV channel TVP Sport.

The confrontation between the national teams of Ukraine and Poland is already the 15th in history: eight wins for blue-and-yellow, three times better were the Poles, twice the teams ended the game without a winner, and the last meeting ended with a penalty shootout series. The overall difference in goals scored and conceded also favors the Ukrainian team — 33-21.

Meanwhile, the venue for matches in the 3rd and 4th rounds has been announced — Greece — Ukraine and Ukraine — Greece. The games will take place on October 27 and 31 at the stadium of OFI “Theodoros Vardinoyannis” in Iraklion. The start time for the matches will be determined later.

Four teams that finish second will play playoff matches against the third-place teams in League A. Winners of these matches will qualify for League A; teams that lose will compete in League B.

The three best teams finishing third will play playoff matches against the top three teams finishing second in League C. Winners of these matches will qualify for League B for European qualification; teams that lose will remain in League C.

The team with the lowest ranking among those finishing third and four teams that finish fourth will drop to League C.

League C

Five group winners advance to League B.
