The headquarters of the Union of European Football Associations in Nyon hosted the XIV UEFA Coaches Conference. The representative from the Ukrainian Association of Football was Valeriy Shamardin, Director of the Licensing Center at the UAF.

For three years now, this event has gathered coaches and coaching instructors at the highest level to exchange information, new technologies, and digital innovations in football.

This year's conference theme was the philosophy of coach education based on principles of expanding possibilities, innovation, respect for national football culture and history, as well as goal-oriented cooperation.

In addition to traditional reports on achievements, contemporary trends and modernization of coaching activities in light of the dynamic societal development were discussed.

A great deal of attention was paid to three topics — fitness, women's football, and goalkeepers. In these areas, UEFA experts have created fundamental structured manuals that will help national associations reach a new level of coaching education development.

The conference concluded with a presentation on the use of contemporary video analysis technology aimed at improving the role of the coach as an expert.
