Ukraine national team forward Roman Yaremchuk shared his thoughts on the Euro 2024 qualifier match against England (1:1).

"The most important thing was to try and earn points from this opponent, because England is a very high-level team, one of the best in the world. We had to accept that there would be a lot of work without the ball. If we hadn't done so, we probably would have lost. So we accepted it, worked for each other, and earned a well-deserved point."

A tough match with lots of work without the ball. But the positive is that we drew. At the last camp, I had an injury and missed it. Of course, now I want to show my goal-scoring ability. But based on reality, I'm on the right path, working for the team. And goals will definitely come. We are very grateful to the fans for their incredible atmosphere," — said Roman Yaremchuk.

We remind you that the Euro 2024 qualifier match between the Italy and Ukraine national teams will take place on September 12 in Milan (kickoff at 21:45 Kyiv time).
