— Will Andriy Yarmolenko be ready to play? If not, who do you plan to replace him with?

— First of all, Andriy has yet to train with the main group. Of course, he is not one hundred percent ready. We will see today. There are players who can replace him. Right now, there is competition for every position in Ukraine's national team, which I am very pleased about.

— Why wasn't Ruslan Malinovskiy called up to the national team?

— When we were calling up players, he didn't even have a club or practice. We called up those who were available. Ruslan is part of our national team, so there's nothing to worry about. Right now, he has game practice. I believe that he will get into shape and return to the national team.

— Many Ukrainians are living in Wroclaw right now. Are you expecting support from the "12th player" during the match?

— Unfortunately, we have been playing outside of Ukraine for over a year now. We need to compete under these circumstances. I am sure there will be great support from Ukrainians and Poles. I think the atmosphere at the stadium will be good, and the players will feel it.

— What is the personnel situation in Ukraine's national team?

— Unfortunately, there are some minor injuries among our players. However, we have called up 26 players, which is enough. Similar issues exist with England's national team as well. I always say that we need to respect the opponent but focus on our game. Despite all these injuries, we must show our style of play.

— What role will Oleksandr Zinchenko have in your team?

— We'll see tomorrow. I am confident that he is ready and willing to play any position. He has played both right-back and left-back...

— What result would be satisfactory for you in the upcoming matches?

— I need to prepare for every game. Right now, we have a match against England, followed by one against Italy. But I am focused on this game. We don't count points that we should earn in two games. Our goal is to focus on the game and do everything possible to win three points, then we'll see what happens.

— The England national team is a tough opponent. What are their weaknesses?

— It's very hard to find them. But we need to focus on our game, understand how to face this opponent. Over the past few days, we have figured out what to do. However, football is unpredictable — you never know what will happen tomorrow on the field. It's important for players to concentrate on their game and understand the weaknesses of the opposition. But England is a very strong team. Despite personnel issues, they have two or three solid squads. Therefore, we are preparing seriously, and tomorrow we need to show our game.

— Do you share Oleksandr Zinchenko's feelings about the situation in Ukraine? How challenging is it for you to lead the national team at this time?

— Of course, I fully agree with Oleksandr. He mentioned the great support from Poland, but I want to remind everyone that England has also provided us with significant support during these difficult times for us. As for my work, I am very happy and it's a huge responsibility. I'm glad to be part of the team in such challenging times.

Not only Oleksandr and I have these feelings. Every player on the national team constantly thinks about Ukraine; we talk about this all the time. We know why we are here, in our place — because there are boys and girls fighting for our independence at the front line. As a coach, it's even easier for me since there is no need to motivate the players. They clearly understand what they are playing for, they understand their goal, and we move towards it.
