The coach summed up the first cycle of training sessions as follows: "Children come to trainings with pleasure, both boys and girls. They complete all assigned tasks to the best of their ability. Thanks to the trainings, a team spirit has developed in children, emotional stability and self-confidence have improved, and an individual approach to each participant was very important. Trainings improve the physical development of children, foster interest in active leisure, and instill love for sports. Children learned to support one another in minor setbacks. Football helps children bond. On behalf of our community, I thank the Ukrainian Football Association for the opportunity to involve children in such a necessary project during this difficult time, as well as for providing essential equipment."

Through the UEFA Grassroots Football Charter, the Ukrainian Football Association aims to:

— improve the psycho-emotional and physical state of children through their involvement in physical activities and socialization;

— change society's attitude towards people with disabilities;

— provide access to inclusive sports training;

— unlock children's potential;

— unite children and adults, regardless of physical or mental development characteristics.

Inclusive football sections, to which children with special educational needs are often enrolled, have been opened in 21 communities across Ukraine. Thanks to the UAF, these sections are equipped with football uniforms for children, balls, and necessary sports equipment.
