President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about the necessity for a significant overhaul of military education in our country and an upcoming conference in the US involving leaders of the largest and most promising global companies.

Held a meeting of the General Staff - very detailed, focused primarily on the front line. The situation on all key areas of action - both in defense against Russian assaults and our active steps forward. Plus everything that is important for this. Ammunition, weapons, equipment. Rational use of ammunition, supply from partners and our Ukrainian production. Logistics.

As always at the General Staff meeting, reports from our commanders: Chief, operational direction commanders... Zhusytsia, Syrskyi, Taranovskyi... Commanders from specific frontline areas. Also Minister of Internal Affairs Klimenko. Head of Border Service Denysenko. There was an important report by GUR chief Budanov about the situation in Belarus - we are very closely monitoring what is happening there in terms of security. As of today, there are no large-scale threats. Our full focus remains on the front.

We must all understand very clearly - as clearly as possible - that Russian forces on our southern and eastern lands are doing everything they can to stop our soldiers. And every thousand meters of advancement forward, every success of each of our combat brigades deserves gratitude. Everyone who goes on the offensive, everyone who repels enemy assaults - well done, and I am grateful to every one of our soldiers!

This week we have not yet completed our planned international work. There will be important talks for Ukraine ahead. And we are already preparing for the coming weeks. We will not reduce our international activity in any way, especially regarding the Peace Formula, security guarantees for Ukraine on its path to NATO and agreements with partners concerning weapons for Ukraine and sanctions against Russia. Preparing new decisions of the National Security and Defense Council on sanctions as well.

Continuing discussions about transforming Ukraine. Today - about military education. All the experience of our soldiers, all the competencies acquired by Ukrainians and Ukrainian women in war, our joint with partners new experience in defense - all this must be integrated into a renewed Ukrainian military education.

It is clear that this field at the state level deserves significant overhaul. And it is very important for those who are practically defending our country right now and already training defenders of our country to be involved in such discussions about this overhaul.

And one more thing.

Today I participated in a conversation in America - at a conference involving leaders of the largest and most promising global companies, the biggest philanthropists. Investments, jobs in Ukraine, support for our country and people... Right now Ukrainians are revealing the enormous potential of our country. All of it is aimed at our defense. But when we end the war, Ukrainian potential must be invested in Ukrainian development. The world with great interest awaits what this development will bring to the world from Ukraine's victory. And this question every person today in Ukraine who works for the state, who plans to work for the state... everyone today has to ask themselves this question and find answers.

Ukraine has become a global power. And it must become a force of global development. I am confident that it will be so.
