The draw for the preliminary and main rounds of the UEFA Futsal Champions League season-2023/2024 has taken place.

In the 2023/2024 season of the UEFA Futsal Champions League, the competition is proceeding as usual. The preliminary, main, and elite rounds will take place in a mini-tournament format. As before, four clubs will participate in the final stage. The venue for the final stage will be determined once the participants are known.

Kyiv's "HIT" is set to represent Ukraine for the first time after winning in the Extra League. Our team will start the tournament from the main round and follow Path A. According to the draw results, Kyiv's opponents in Group 1 will be "Sporting" (Portugal), "Olmissum" (Croatia) and "Ayt" (Kazakhstan). The mini-tournament will take place in Croatia from October 24-29.

Calendar

Preliminary round: August 22–27.

Main round: October 24–29.

Elite round draw: November 2.

Elite round: November 28 – December 3.

Final stage draw: will be announced later.

Final stage: March 2/3 and March 4/5, 2024.

Format

Preliminary round (August 22–27)

This round will feature teams with the lowest ranking. Teams will be divided into eight groups of four participants each. Seeding will depend on the ranking. Pre-selected hosts for mini-tournaments will be placed in a separate draw box. Group winners and the best second-placed team will advance to the main round.

Main round (October 24–29)

Path A

This path includes the current champion, "Palma," the next eleven top-ranked clubs in the ranking, and teams ranked from 16th to 19th. During the draw, teams will be divided into groups of four each. Four clubs will be designated as hosts beforehand and placed in a separate box with their seeding numbers preserved. Teams from one country may end up in the same group. Any possible restrictions will be announced before the draw. The top three teams from each group will advance to the elite round.

Path B

This path includes teams ranked 12th–15th and 20th–22nd, as well as winners of the preliminary round. During the draw, teams will be divided into groups of four each. Four clubs will be designated as hosts beforehand and placed in a separate box with their seeding numbers preserved. Any possible restrictions will be announced before the draw. Winners of the four groups will advance to the elite round.

Elite round (November 28 – December 3)

Sixteen clubs will be divided into four groups of four each. The draw will take place on November 2. Seeding will be confirmed before the draw. Winners of the four groups will advance to the final stage.

Final tournament

This is a knockout tournament featuring four teams. It will take place at one venue in March 2024. The location, exact dates, and draw date will be announced later.
