President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, reporting on a meeting following the London conference for restoring our state and today's session of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) and General Staff.

The results of this eventful day.

A meeting on the outcomes of the London conference for restoring Ukraine—a powerful event, significant achievements for our state. Support from the United Kingdom, the US, and the European Union is very important. Programs for long-term support in the years ahead. Nearly five hundred global companies, strong companies, have an interest in investing in Ukraine. Clear support for Ukraine's membership in the EU: politically, we are already perceived as a member of the EU. We are also working separately on mechanisms to confiscate assets from the state-terrorist entity and individuals associated with it. I thank everyone who prepared the conference and participated in its work; this is truly important.

Today's NSDC meeting was very meaningful. Regarding that, I have already reported separately. Just now, I also held a session of the General Staff. One of the most important points discussed at the General Staff—justice. The issue concerning military commissars, specifically the scandal in Odessa. This person definitely should not be in the system for drafting military personnel; it is very unpleasant and outright immoral that this person remained in their position despite everything. I instructed Chief Zaluzhny to remove this person from their post. And Pavlyuk, the first deputy minister of defense of Ukraine, was tasked with organizing an investigation into the entire military commissar system. It's a pity that the General Staff has to spend time on such issues now.

Of course, we thoroughly examined the situation at the front lines. All main directions, supply of ammunition, artillery—everything that requires attention from the General Staff today. Reports were given by commanders—Generals Zaluzhny, Syrskyi, Tarnavskyy, Moskalov, Vice Admiral Neizhpapa, General Maliuk, and officials. Everyone.

I had the honor to welcome graduates of our military educational institutions. Six universities altogether. The Kharkiv National University of Air Forces, Military Institute of Tank Troops at Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute, Military Institute of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv University, Military Institute of Telecommunications and Informationization named after Heroes of Kрут, Ukrainian Military Medical Academy, and the Department of Military Training at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. Thank you to everyone who chooses to become a Ukrainian officer, and I wish you two fundamental things—destroy as many occupiers as possible and win as soon as possible.

And two more points.

Today in our country we celebrate the Day of State Service. The day for those people without whom there would be no effective state. Of course, we still need to do a lot to bring state service in Ukraine closer to the models we aspire to in our policy. But now I want to thank all those people who under existing conditions and with available resources are doing everything they can to make the state effective. Thank you! To everyone!

And, of course, the front. Knowing our heroes and being grateful to them is essential.

Today I want to especially highlight the soldiers of our 35th Separate Marine Brigade. A brigade that carries out extremely difficult tasks. Boys who fight exactly as Ukrainian soldiers should fight. Petty Officer Vyacheslav Imangulov and Lieutenant Junior Grade Sergiy Pienov—thank you, boys, for your exemplary strength and courage in battles in Donetsk. This is how our soldiers, Ukrainian soldiers, should be. Well done!

And I ask everyone to please honor the memory of two of our paratroopers from "35th". Particularly brave, particularly strong. They gave their lives for our state and people right now—in battles in June—and Ukraine must remember them. Captain Ivan Kotsur... Eternal Memory! Senior Lieutenant Oleksandr Kazandzhi... Eternal Memory! May the victory of Ukraine in this war and the successful transformation of our state institutions into as powerful and effective ones as our soldiers—may this be the best tribute to the memory of all our heroes from different times who fought and died for the freedom and strength of Ukraine!
