To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on June 22, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred eighty-fourth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against our country has begun.

Forces of the Ukrainian Defense are continuing offensive operations on three fronts: Melitopol, Berdyansk, and Lysychansk.

On the Rivne-Mayorsk direction — forces have achieved partial success, are consolidating at the gained positions, delivering artillery fire against identified targets of the enemy, conducting counter-battery measures. The enemy is using reserves, attempting to restore lost positions but suffering significant losses.

On the Lysychansk direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces have conducted offensive actions towards Bihorivka — Dibrova and achieved partial success, consolidating at the gained positions.

Last night, the Russian Federation carried out another missile and air strike on Ukraine using Iranian Shahed attack drones.

Over the past day, the enemy conducted 44 aerial strikes and 160 missile attacks, including six Iranian Shahed attack drones. All "Shaheds" were destroyed by our defenders. The enemy also carried out 47 artillery barrages with multiple rocket launchers.

Unfortunately, there are casualties among the civilian population.

The likelihood of missile and aerial strikes on all of Ukraine's territory remains high.

The enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on the Lysychansk, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariupol directions. Heavy fighting is ongoing; over 40 combat engagements took place during the day.

On the Volyn and Polissya Directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly. No signs of enemy offensive groupings have been identified.

On the Northern and Slobozhansky Directions, the enemy carried out air strikes on the populated areas of Leonivka, Mykolaivka in Chernihiv Oblast, and Volvino in Sumy Oblast. Conducted mortar and artillery shelling of the populated areas of Khrynyvka, Yelina, Karpovichi, Leonivka in Chernihiv Oblast; Seredyna-Buda, Porokhun, Sitne, Fotovizh, Novyi Vyrky, Volvino, Shpil, Obodi, Dmitrivka, Kindratyvka, Loknya, Stepenye, Velika Pysaryvka in Sumy Oblast, as well as Odnorobivka, Udi, Veterinarnoe, Kozacha Lopan, Vishcha Yaruga, Lipci, Alisivka, Bugruvatka, Starytsia, Vovchansky, Vovchansky Khutora, Bochkove, Plytenyvka, Mala Vovcha, Varvarivka, Budarki, Rublene, Aniskyne, Milove in the Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk Direction, the enemy carried out an air strike near Synkivky of Kharkiv Oblast. The enemy's artillery and mortar shelling affected Krassne Pereche, Figolivka, Novomlynsky, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Masutyvka, Kyslyvka, and Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Lysychansk Direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions near Dibrova and Bihorivka of Luhansk Oblast and Seriyevka of Donetsk Oblast. Conducted air strikes near Novyegorivka and Bihorivka in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Severna — Donetsky. Artillery shelling affected Stehlmykhivka, Nevske, Dibrova, Kuzmine, Bihorivka of Luhansk Oblast, and Torske, Verhnyokamyanske, Spirene, and Rozdolyvka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut Direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions near Orivohovasylivka, Ivanivsky, and Bila Hora. Conducted air strikes near Druzhkivske, Kurdyumivka, and New York in Donetsk Oblast. The areas of Vasyukivka, Orivohovasylivka, Bogdanivka, Kalynevka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozaryanivka, Bila Hora, Kostenkivka, Druzhba, and Pivnichne in Donetsk Oblast suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

On the Avdiyivka Direction, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions near Avdiyivka, Severny, and Perevmyk. Conducted air strikes near Avdiyivka, Severny, and Perevmyk. The areas of Oleksandrivske, Keramik, Novokalynove, Berdychi, Stepenye, Avdiyivka, Tonienkye, Severne, Perevmyk, Netaylove, and Nevelske in Donetsk Oblast suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

On the Mariupol Direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions near Mariupol, Pobedy, and Novomikhailovka of Donetsk Oblast without success. Conducted an air strike near Krasnogorivka. At the same time, artillery shelling affected populated areas of Krasnogorivka, Zoriane, Gostre, Mariupol, Georgiyevka, Kurakhove, and Pobedy in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Shakhtarsk Direction, the enemy carried out offensive actions near Novomikhailovka and Vuhledar without success. Conducted air strikes near Novomikhailivka and Zolotaya Niva. The populated areas of Paraskevivka, Novomikhailivka, Kostenkivka, Yelizavetivka, Katerynivka, Bogoyavlennya, Blagodatne, Prechistivka, Zolota Niva, and Velyka Novosylovka in Donetsk Oblast suffered from enemy shelling.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Directions, the enemy continues to conduct defensive actions. Carried out unsuccessful offensive actions towards Piatikhata of Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The enemy conducted air strikes in the areas of Levadnoe, Preobrazhenka, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, and Stepanohirske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Conducted artillery shelling of populated areas of Novocheretuvate, Neskuchne, Blagodatne, Makarivka, Storozheve, Zelenoye Pole, Temirovka, Novopil, Burlytske in Donetsk Oblast; Levadnoye, Chervonoye, Hulyaypole, Novoandriyivka, Piatikhata, Lobkove, Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Zolotaya Balka, Mikhailivka, Novoolesandrivka, Dudchani, Kachkarivka, Shlyakhove, Kozatske, Mykolayivka, Burgunka, Ivanivka, Sadove, Prydniprovskoye, Nadnipryanske, Molodyzhne, Zimyvnik, Bilozerka, Romashkove, Antonivka, Kherson, Dniprovske, Kizomys in Kherson Oblast and Ochakiv of Mykolayiv Oblast.

Aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 12 strikes against enemy personnel concentration areas and six — against enemy air defense systems. Our defenders also destroyed a Russian Mi-24 attack helicopter and seven reconnaissance drones.

Units of missile troops and artillery inflicted damage on three command points, one air defense system, two areas of enemy personnel concentration and military equipment, 13 artillery units at firing positions, two radio engineering stations, and an ammunition depot of the enemy.

Overall, over the past day, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed: 650 Russian occupiers, seven tanks, 12 armored combat vehicles, 21 artillery systems, two MLRS, one anti-aircraft system, one Russian helicopter, ten tactical drones, and eleven enemy vehicles.
