From June 7, Ruslan Rotan's team worked in Styria and managed to conduct two friendlies: against Kuwait (U-23) — 2:0 and Ireland (U-21) — 2:2. On Monday, the Ukrainians flew from Vienna to Bucharest, where they will play three group stage matches of the Euro 2023 (U-21) final tournament.

Our delegation will be staying at the "Karo" hotel. By the way, it was the residence of Ukraine's national team during Euro 2020 in June 2021. Tonight, after theory sessions, the blue-and-yellow team will conduct training on the "Voluntari" stadium, tomorrow morning they will have another theoretical session, and at 7:30 PM (time coincides with Kyiv time) — training at the "Rapid-Gulaisi" arena. Our "youth" team will play two matches there: June 21st against Croatia and June 27th against Spain. Another match, against Romania on June 24th, Rotan's wards will play at the "Stadiumul Steaua" stadium.

We remind you that in Euro 2023 (U-21), which takes place from June 21 to July 8 in Georgia and Romania, sixteen teams will participate. According to the draw results held on October 18 last year in Bucharest, blue-and-yellow ended up in Group B, where they will face Romania, Spain, and Croatia. The three best teams of Euro 2023 (except for France and England) will receive tickets for the 2024 Olympics.
