To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on April 29, 2023, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred and thirtieth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

Yesterday, the Russian Federation carried out another massive missile strike on civilian objects and residential buildings. Sadly, there were hits. Civilians have been killed and injured. Failing to achieve desired results on the battlefield, the enemy cynically continues to employ tactics of terror, thereby grossly violating international humanitarian law.

Overall during the past day, the adversary launched 23 cruise missiles of types Kh-101 and Kh-555. Our defenders destroyed 21 cruise missiles, as well as two tactical drones and two strike drones.

From the missile terror of Russians, the cities of Uman in Cherkasy region, Dnipro, and Ukrainianka in Kyiv region suffered. According to preliminary information, more than 20 civilians were killed, including four children. People are still under rubble; search operations continue. Over ten multi-story buildings and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged. Additionally, the enemy carried out 36 air strikes. Using guided aerial bombs, Russians attacked Chernihiv region, as a result of which eight civilian houses in the populated area of Kostobobriv were bombed. Moreover, the enemy conducted 65 artillery shelling.

The likelihood of further missile and air strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

The adversary continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariupol axes. During the past day, it carried out 48 attacks in these sectors of the front.

Bakhmut and Mariupol remain at the epicenter of combat actions; our soldiers are bravely holding their ground.

On the Volyn and Polissya axes, there have been no significant changes in the operational situation. Signs of forming offensive groups by the enemy were not detected.

On the Northern and Slobidska axes, the presence of enemy forces near Ukraine's border areas within Russian Federation remains stable. During the past day, the enemy carried out air strikes on populated areas of Semenivka, Leonivka, Kostobobriv, Gremyach, Romashkove; conducted mortar and artillery shelling of populated areas of Halyaganyvka, Leonivka, and Buchky in Chernihiv region; Romashkove, Volna Sloboda, Stukalivka, Iskriskyshchyna, Volfine, and Obodi in Sumy region, as well as Morokhovets, Lipci, Hatishe, Volohivka, Nesterne, Budarky in Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk axis, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations; actively used drones to correct artillery fire. Artillery and mortar shelling by the adversary affected populated areas of Krasnoe Pereche, Novomlynsk, Figolivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Liman First, Synkivka, Kislivka, Berestove in Kharkiv region, as well as Novoselivske in Luhansk region.

On the Lyman axis, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations towards Bihorovka and southeast of Dibrova. Carried out air strikes on populated areas of Novoyegorivka, Nevske, Bihorovka, Torske, Serbyanka, Spirene, Ivanivka. Artillery shelling affected Makieyivka, Nevske, Dibrova, and Bihorovka in Luhansk region; Terne, Verkhnyokamyanske, Spirene in Donetsk region.

On the Bakhmut axis, the enemy continues to conduct offensive operations. Battles are ongoing in the city of Bakhmut. Additionally, during the day, the adversary carried out unsuccessful offensive operations towards Bogdanivka and Chasovo Yar. Carried out air strikes on Bakhmut and Bogdanivtsi. From enemy shelling, Vasukivka, Orikhovo-Vasilivka, Bakhmut, Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Hryhorivka, Ivanivske, Predtechina, Kostiantynivka, Oleksandro-Shultina, Pivdenne, Nelypivka, and New York in Donetsk region suffered.

On the Avdiivka axis, the enemy conducted offensive operations in areas of populated places of Avdiivka, Severne, and Perevomayske; did not succeed. Carried out shelling on populated places of Novobakhmutivka, Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Perevomayske, Nevelske in Donetsk region.

On the Mariupol axis, during the past day our defenders repelled attacks by the enemy in areas of populated places of Mariupol and Novomykhailivka. At the same time, enemy shelling affected Krasnogorivka, Mariupol, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region.

On the Shakhtarsk axis, during the past day the adversary did not conduct offensive operations. Carried out air strikes on Vuhledar, Prichystyvtsi, and Shakhtarske in Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes, the enemy continues to conduct defensive operations. Meanwhile, it carried out shelling of over 45 populated places near the line of contact. Among them — Malynivka, Tyschcha, Mala Tokmachka, Kamianske, Ivanivka in Zaporizhzhia region; Respublikanets, Tomaryne, Tyaginka, Kherson, Bilyzherka, and Yantarnoe in Kherson region. There are casualties among civilians, residential buildings have been damaged.

Russian occupiers continue to commit looting on temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. In particular, in the populated place of Bokovo-Khrustalne in Luhansk region, military servicemen of Russian occupation forces are plundering homes of local residents.

The enemy has strengthened filtration measures on temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region. In particular, in populated places of Malyo-Oleksandrivka, Novomikolaivka, Skadovsk, and Lazurne mass searches of residential premises and phone checks are being conducted. Special attention is paid to residents who have SIM cards from Ukrainian operators.

The Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out five strikes during the day in areas where occupiers are concentrated, while rocket units and artillery divisions hit four command points, ammunition depots, and four concentrations of enemy manpower.
