Note for Attention — Operational Information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on April 9, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred and tenth day of the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against our state has begun.

During the past day, the enemy carried out four missile strikes and 40 air raids, conducted 58 shelling attacks with multiple rocket launchers on the positions of our troops and civilian infrastructure in populated areas.

The likelihood of missile and air raid attacks remains high across all of Ukraine's territory as the enemy continues to employ a tactic of terror.

The enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on conducting offensive operations on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariupol axes. Thanks to the bravery of each soldier, over 50 attacks by the enemy were repelled on these axes during the past day.

On the Volyn, Polesie, Sever, and Slobozhanskyi fronts, the operational situation — no significant changes. Signs of forming offensive groupings by the enemy have not been detected. The enemy continues to maintain a military presence in border areas with Ukraine in Kursk and Belgorod regions. Engineering equipment is ongoing in border areas of the Kursk region. During the past day, the enemy shelled populated areas of Gremyach, Chernihiv Oblast; Seredina-Buda, Baranivka, Bezsalivka, Volvynne, Turia, Vysokie, Sumy Oblast; as well as Veterinarnoe, Graniv, Vilkhivka, Terova, Staritsa, Vochniansk, Karaiychine and Chugunivka in Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk front, enemy shelling affected populated areas of Kolodyazhne, Krasnoe Pervoe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Krokhmalne, Kindrashivka, Pischanoye and Berezhovoye in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Lyman front, during the past day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the area south of Kuzminy and Verkhnyokamyanske. Artillery shelling affected Cherneshchina, Kharkiv Oblast; Makieyivka, Nevskoye, Dibrova, Bihorivka, Luhansk Oblast; as well as Kolodyazhi, Yamopolivka, Torske, Severne, Spirene in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut front, the enemy continues to conduct offensive operations and attempts to take full control of the city of Bakhmut. Battles are ongoing throughout the day. The enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations around the populated area of Bogdanivka. Units of the Defense Forces repelled close to 10 attacks by the enemy on this front section. Over 15 populated areas suffered from enemy shelling, including Vasyukivka, Minkivka, Zaliznyanske, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Markove, Grygoriyivka, Bakhmut, Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Stupochki, Bila Hora, Novodmytrivka and Druzhba in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiivka and Mariupol fronts, during the past day, the enemy conducted offensive operations around Novokalynovoye, Severnyy, Pervomayskoye and Mariupol in Donetsk Oblast. Success was not achieved. The most intense battles are taking place near Mariupol where over 15 enemy attacks were repelled. At the same time, enemy shelling affected Novokalynove, Kamianka, Stepole, Orlivka, Lastovchane, Avdiivka, Severne, Netaylove, Karlivka, Krasnogorivka, Mariupol, Pobeda and Paraskevivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Shakhtarsk front, during the day, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations. Shelled populated areas of Novomykhailivka, Shakhterske, Nova Ukrayinka, Velyka Novosyilka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolotaya Niva and Novomaiorske in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson fronts, the enemy continues to strengthen defensive positions along fortified lines. Conducted shelling of over 40 populated areas near the line of battle engagement. Among them — Vremivka, Novopil in Donetsk Oblast; Novosylikha, Olhivske, Malynivka, Chervone, Hulyaypole, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Stepole, Kamianske in Zaporizhzhya Oblast; Dudchani, Kachkarivka, Berislav, Kazatske, Mykolayivka, Ivanivka, Mikiliske, Komishany, Bilyozerkha, Dniprovskoye and Kherson in Kherson Oblast.

Russian occupiers continue to strengthen counterintelligence and police regimes on temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region. In particular, in the Gorostayivskyi district of the Kherson region, raids are ongoing with checks of personal phones of local residents for photo and video materials as well as "prohibited" content. During such inspections, occupiers record personal data of locals and randomly search their settlements.

The Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out 12 strikes on areas of enemy personnel concentration and military equipment during the day. Also, our defenders shot down two Supercam drones, six "Orlan-10" drones, and six Zala drones.

Units of rocket troops and artillery inflicted damage to two areas of enemy manpower concentration, weapons and military equipment, one ammunition depot, one position of anti-aircraft defense means, and five radio-electronic warfare stations of the enemy.
