Today I am already in Ukraine, in Kyiv, here on Bankova Street. A day of internal meetings and preparations for events planned in the near future.

As always, I was in touch with the military - everything related to the hottest spots at the front line.

It is very important that the content of the visit to Poland, our delegation's work in Warsaw and constant communication with Polish partners should be felt on our frontline.

Defense and protection of our people, support for our resilience, especially soldiers - this is the number one issue in all talks and meetings.

Exactly defense - weapons for Ukraine, ammunition for Ukraine, new defensive systems for Ukraine.

And I thank Poland, I thank our partners for making this visit truly meaningful.

I would like to separately highlight the meeting that took place very late last night, almost at midnight. A meeting with mayors of Polish cities, cities-rescuers for Ukraine and Ukrainians. Jasło, Przemyśl, Lublin and Hrubieszów. We met them in Hrubieszów - together with Mr. Prime Minister of Poland Morawiecki.

I thanked the entire community of city rescuers, each one who helped Ukrainians, who showed right from the first days of full-scale war that there are no barriers, borders, obstacles between Ukrainian and Polish hearts.

Ukraine knows how to be grateful. Grateful for such solidarity - historical solidarity.

Today, as always, we have units worth mentioning.

Paratroopers "eighty" and fighters of the 57th separate mechanized brigade. The 30th separate mechanized brigade. The strength of your defense, boys, and resilience - all this inspires. It inspires strongly. It inspires the world not to give up support for Ukraine. Thank you, soldiers!

The 35th and 36th separate marine infantry brigades, soldiers of the 55th separate artillery brigade "Zaporizhzhia Sich". Always excellent. Always striving for better results. Thank you!

Thank you to the special forces unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate who are fighting in Bakhmut. Well done, boys!

Bakhmut and Mariinka, Avdiivka and all our Donbas, our east, Zaporizhzhia and our Azov region, our Kherson - I thank everyone who is fighting for freedom for our country, for freedom for our people.

Thank you to everyone who will inevitably drive the Russian army out of Ukraine!
