To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on April 6, 2023, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The fourth hundred and seventh day of the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against our state has begun.

During the past day, the enemy carried out three missile strikes and 29 air raids, conducted 51 artillery attacks using multiple rocket launchers.

The likelihood of further missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.

The enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on conducting offensive actions along the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka axes. Over 60 attacks by the enemy were repelled during the past day. The epicenter of combat operations remains Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka.

On the Volynian, Polesian, Northern, and Slobozhansky axes, the operational situation — no significant changes. Signs of forming offensive groups by the enemy have not been detected. The Russian Federation continues to use airspace and territory of the Republic of Belarus, its military infrastructure. During the day, the enemy carried out shelling of populated areas in Tyra, Leonivka, Pechenugy, Chernihiv Oblast; Seredina-Buda, Stukalivka, Bezsalivka, and Volkhynne, Sumy Oblast, as well as Odnorobivka, Udi, Chervona Zoriya, Veterinarnoe, Kozacha Lopan', Lipci, Neskuchnoye, Ogireve, Zybine, and Bokhove in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk axis, enemy shelling affected Topoli, Figolivka, Dvorichna, Masutyvka, Kupyansk, Kucherivka, Krokhmalne, Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast and Novoselyvskoye and Stehlamakhivka in Luhansk Oblast.

On the Lyman axis, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions around Nevske and Seriyevsky forest. Artillery shelling affected Makieyivka, Nevske, Bihorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Terni, Zariche, Tor'skoye, Spirne, and Rozdolovka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut axis, the enemy attempts to take full control of the city of Bakhmut, continues its assault on it. Also during the past day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions around the populated areas of Bogdanivka and Ivanivske. Units of the Defense Forces repelled close to 20 attacks by the enemy in the specified sector of the front. Over 15 populated areas suffered from enemy shelling, including Vasyukivka, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasilivka, Novomarkove, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Novodmytrivka, Bila Hora, Kleban-Bik, Toretsk and Shumi in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiyivka and Marinka axes, the enemy conducted offensive actions around Novokalynove, Avdiyivka, and Marinka in Donetsk Oblast. Success was not achieved. Only near Marinka did it carry out over 25 unsuccessful attacks. At the same time, enemy shelling affected Novokalynove, Berdychi, Lastochkine, Avdiyivka, Netaylove, Pervomaiske, Krasnogorivka, Georgiyivka, Marinka and Pokhod.

On the Shakhtarsky axis, during the day the enemy did not conduct offensive actions. To correct artillery fire actively used UAVs. Carried out shelling of populated areas Novomikhaylivka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka and Velika Novosilka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson axes, the enemy is reinforcing defensive positions. Shelled over 35 populated areas. Among them — Vremivka and Novopil in Donetsk Oblast; Malynivka, Zaliznychnye, Hulyaypilske, Mala Tokmachka, Novopavlivka, Kamianske in Zaporizhzhya Oblast, as well as Novoalexandrovka, Havrylivka, Novoberislavske, Kozatske, Mykolayivka, L'vove, Ivanivka, Antonivka, Stepanivka and Chornobayivka in Kherson Oblast.

The enemy continues to use medical facilities on temporarily occupied territories for its own purposes. Thus, the local clinic of Mala Bilyzherka, which is in Zaporizhzhya Oblast, occupiers have converted into a military hospital. Currently, civilian medical staff are working there and provide their services exclusively to Russian servicemen. As of April 2 this year, about 80 conscripts with injuries of varying severity were undergoing treatment.

The Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out 17 strikes during the past day against areas where enemy personnel and military equipment are concentrated. At the same time, our defenders destroyed a Russian Ka-52 helicopter and two UAVs of type "Orlan" and Supercam. Units of rocket troops and artillery inflicted damage on two command points, three ammunition depots, three positions of air defense systems and four radio-electronic warfare stations of the enemy.
